Quick close security door system
A security door closure system for cruise ships and other similar public entrance points to prevent terrorist attack or ship take-over is needed. Cruise ship passenger and ship provisioning entrance gangplanks pass through large hydraulically operated shell doors. The gangplank must be removed to close the shell door. The quick close security door system (Door-Gate) is a portable bullet resistant rapid close door system that is placed in conjunction with the gangplank or other entry system, which when closed prevents forced entry. A single lever either remotely or manually operated immediately closes the doors, which then cannot be forced opened from the entrance side.

Windshield system including tower frame
A windshield assembly includes a windshield frame constructed to support a windshield. A plurality of couplers are secured to the windshield frame, and a tower frame for a wakeboard tow rope or cable attachment, radar arch or the like is connected to the windshield frame via the couplers. In one arrangement, the couplers are connected to the wing sections of the windshield frame, and the tower frame extends between the wing sections and above an area defined between the wing sections. The integrated tower frame and windshield simplifies installation for the boat manufacturer while accommodating many varieties of tower and windshield configurations.

Device for mounting boat apparatus to boat deck
For removably coupling a boat apparatus, such as a boat seat or table, to a boat deck, a base plate having a clamping slot is attached to the boat deck and the boat seat or table or the like is supported by a base assembly having a clamping bolt. The base assembly is placed over the base plate with the clamping bolt engaged in the clamping slot and a manually operable member on the base assembly is manually operated to releasably clamp the bolt securely in place in the associated slot.

Floating power plant
A floating power plant includes a hull having a structure suitable for being movable at sea; a plurality of watertight bulkheads placed in the hull to a height of a freeboard deck, thus partitioning the interior of the hull into a plurality of watertight chambers; a power generating equipment for generating electricity, the power generating equipment including a plurality of parts separately installed in the watertight chambers; and a duct arranged to pass over the freeboard deck to couple the parts of the power generating equipment installed in the watertight chambers to each other. The floating power plant can economically supply electricity to a specific district or to a specific facility that temporarily uses electricity, and can minimize limitations caused by environmental regulations, and can be used as an emergency electric power source.
