Multiple plane weigh platter for multiple plane scanning systems
A multi-plane scanner having a dual plane scanner with a horizontal window and a vertical window and a load cell/weigh platter weighing apparatus such that the weigh platter itself is a dual plane object with vertical and horizontal sections. The size and orientation of the planes of the weigh platter correspond to the size and orientation of the scan windows of the dual plane scanner, and each plane of the weigh platter has a transparent area (typically central), or “platter window”, corresponding to a respective scan windows of the scanner for allowing transmission of scanned optical beams and optical barcode signals through each of the planes of the weigh platter. The platter is sufficiently rigid to permit accurate weighing whether the object being weighed is placed solely on the horizontal section of the platter or in part on the vertical section. The vertical and horizontal sections of the platter are sealed together to prevent passage of debris therebetween.

Weighing device equipped with power supply mechanism having fixed section and movable section
A weighing section includes a plurality of weighing members and a power supply mechanism. The weighing members weigh an object while moving. The power supply mechanism includes a fixed section, a rotatable section moving along the movement of the weighing members, a primary coil provided on the fixed section, and a secondary coil provided on the rotatable section. The power supply mechanism supplies power to the primary coil, retrieves an induced electromotive force from the secondary coil, and supplies power to the weighing members.

Conveyor weighbridge with built-in calibration weight
The loadcell live idler platform scale has an idler to support a conveyor belt and a frame on which the rollers are mounted. The weighbridge has four load cells connected perpendicular to each end of the frame, strain gauges to receive deflections from each pair of load cells, a speed detector for the material passing upon the conveyor, and a controller for converting the signals of the strain gauges and the speed detector to the desired weight and volume data along with calibrating the scale. Beneath the idler, the scale has a calibration weight resting in a tray. Two cables, attached to the idler and its mounts, suspend the calibration weight and an activator raises and lowers the calibration weight. The calibration weight and activator are generally cylindrical and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the idler.

Conveying device having container order changing mechanism, and combination weighing device and quality inspection device provided therewith
A conveying device is disclosed that changes the order of containers during conveyance in order to speed up processes, such as a discharging process performed by a combination weighing device and a rank-order sorting process performed by a quality inspection device. With a combination weighing device, a plurality of containers placed on a rotary table are moved by rotatably driving the rotary table. While the containers are being moved, a container arrangement mechanism changes the sequential order of the containers that are specified by a control unit.
