Articulated hinge apparatus and related methods
Apparatus and methods for hinging or otherwise easily engaging and disengaging various members to each other include a spring-actuated pin element to selectively extend and retract a pin from one hinge leaf to engage an adjacent structure. A variety of spring elements may be used, and the hinge may be combined with other hinge elements in a variety of ways, including an articulated hinge. Methods of fabrication and assembly are disclosed.

Child resistant container and cap
A locking cap and container is provided for a container having an opening surrounded by a neck with container threads thereon that are sized and located to threadingly engage cap threads formed on a skirt of the cap. A shaped distal end is formed on a distal end of the container threads and a barb is formed on the distal end of the cap threads. A resilient locking tab extends from the container, and is located below the shaped distal end and spaced apart from the shaped distal end a distance sufficient to allow passage of the barb beyond the shaped distal end but sufficiently close to resiliently urge the barb into overlapping rotational alignment with the shaped end. The shaped end is configured to lockingly engage the barb when the tab holds them in alignment. Pushing down on the cap pushes the thread against the locking tab and allows disengagement of the barb from the shaped distal end and movement of the barb past the shaped distal end to unlock the cap.

Gas-tight or partly gas-permeable transport package, and method and apparatus for manufacturing same
A package, comprising an outer package formed from relatively rigid material and an inner package formed from at least two layers of film material, the two layers of film material being gas-tightly connected to each other near their circumference by means of an inherently closed sealing edge, which is formed against a wall part of the outer package.

Oil container carrier
A carrier is provided for use with containers including handles. The container carrier comprises a flexible platform having a perimeter, a longitudinal axis, and an opening, with a portion of the platform at least partially defining the opening and adjacent the closest side of the perimeter of the platform so as to form a handle including a strap. The strap is located such that the longitudinal axis of the platform transverses the strap. Recessed portions are located in the perimeter of the platform, and the recessed portions are located on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis of the platform that transverses the strap. Each recess portion receives a container handle of the adjacent containers. The opening is sized so as to receive at least one of a user's fingers for lifting and transporting the containers.

Cardboard box for containing and dispensing large quantities of wire
The cardboard box for containing and dispensing large quantities of wire, especially metal wire for welding, comprises a cubic external container with an open top side, an octagonal-base internal container, fitting snugly into the external container and being destined to contain a coil of wire, and a bag-type wrapper made of a flexible airtight material, which is interposed between the external and the internal containers so as completely to cover the internal container and able to be closed and sealed there-upon.

Recessed electrical equipment fixture
A recessed fixture for mounting into an opening in a wall structure defining front and rear wall surfaces comprises a pot defining a fixture chamber to be received in the opening of the wall structure and having a peripheral wall, an end wall and a peripheral flange for abutment with the wall structure. A clip is provided having a surface-abutting portion. The clip is so mounted to the peripheral wall of the pot so as to reciprocate between a retracted position where the clip is inside the fixture chamber and an extended position where the surface-abutting portion is outside the fixture chamber and abuts the rear surface of the wall structure. A fastener is coupled to both the clip and the pot for reciprocatively moving the clip between retracted and extended positions.

Housings for underfloor raceways
An housing is configured for connection to the raceway panels by removing the concrete above the raceway panel, cutting a hole in the raceway panel, and securing the housing in the hole in the raceway panel. Alignment clips allow the afterset housings to be ganged together to form an integral afterset assembly. Each alignment clip is configured to slidably engage with a pair of the afterset housings. In one embodiment, the afterset housing includes a preset housing that is normally configured for connection to the raceway panel prior to pouring of the concrete floor, and an adapter connectable to the preset housing and being constructed to reconfigure the preset for use as an afterset housing which is adapted for connection to the raceway panel following pouring of the concrete floor.

Carton handle
A carton handle comprising a first base portion; a second base portion; a pair of retaining flanges which are extended outwardly on each side of the first and the second base portions; a connecting portion connecting the first and second base portions and a ring structure with a U-shape joined on top of the second base portion. First and second base portions are molded to have a generally rectangular shape and dimensions of an aperture in a carton wall such that, upon insertion in an aperture, the first and second base portions are movable to respective positions wherein the retaining flanges lie contiguous with one surface and the opposite surface of the carton wall.

Dual chamber nursery bottle
A dual chamber nursery bottle including upper and lower cylindrical shaped chambers disposed on a common axis one above the other and separated from one another by a rotatable valve assembly that is disposed on the common axis and in contact with the upper and lower chambers.

Elbow assembly for use with divided raceway having T-shaped base
A divided raceway has runs that must traverse a corner in a wall structure. A raceway elbow assembly has an L-shaped base with mutually perpendicular leg portions adapted to abut the wall at that corner. Divider walls are carried by these flat leg portions, but allow flexing of the elbow leg portions as a result of a V-shaped gap between the divider walls at the vertex of the L-shaped elbow, or as a result of the divider wall overlapping one another in this region.
