Safety grater
A safety grater having a parallelepipedal base body, an attachment that slides back and forth along guide rails by slide bars and that has a cylinder, into which items to be grated and sliced and a plunger are introduced and having at least one grating insert that can be fitted into the base body. The base body has elements that prevent the use of the grating and slicing insert without the attachment.

Dispersing device
In a device for the dispersion of, in particular, low-viscosity to high-viscosity mixtures of substances, including a container having one or more openings for introducing the substances to be dispersed and one or more openings for discharging the dispersed substances, and at least one rotor and one stator, the at least one rotor being mounted for rotation relative to the stator about an axis of rotation, for the purpose of dispersing the substances that have been introduced into the container, fast and precisely metered introduction of substances at a controlled rate is achieved in that the stator is mounted for reciprocation in the direction of the rotation axis of the rotor and can be displaced by a displacement device within a specified range of movement and can be locked in an arbitrary position.

Noise reduced food waste disposer
A food waste disposer having devices to reduce noise is disclosed. The disposer has a food conveying section, a motor section, and a grinding section. To reduce the emitted noise that may result when food waste impacts the various components of the grinding section, in one embodiment, the present invention uses sound reduction layers attached to the external surfaces of the food conveying section, the motor section, and/or the central grinding section. The sound reduction layers may be made of materials that absorb, block, or dampen the emitted noise. The rotating shredder plate may have a first metallic layer, a second damping layer, and a third metallic layer. The stationary shredder ring may be made of a high-mass material or have a high-mass ring in connection with a stationary shredder ring. These devices may be combined with various disposer inlet baffles.
